COUP4JIP promotes making minimum wage a living wage, and limiting income and wealth through voluntary ethical and moral choices (progressive income taxes and progressive inheritance taxes) to reduce selfishness, and to protect people and planet from selfish greed corruption.
 

Prices for housing, food, clothing, healthcare, and transportation have steadily gone up over the years while incomes have remained stagnant. We struggle for survival, work two jobs, and go without what we need. We worry and work to meet the costs of our daily responsibilities and a lucky few have a little left over to save for retirement. These are the reasons for C.O.U.P 4 J.I.P. (Community Of United People For Justice In Pay). Life is getting hard in America and and many are hurting.

Each of us consumes products and services produced by someone else and we should each produce a product or service in exchange. Those willing to produce should expect to be rewarded with a standard of living that provides for decent housing, good food, clothing, transportation, retirement, healthcare, and a pleasant environment that is healthy and safe. The minimum wage was an effort to force corrupt, greedy mercenary people to compensate workers to this standard. We all know that rich people have bought elections with expensive advertising and their politicians have allowed the minimum wage, and the American dream, to become only an illusion for many millions of working people. We can fairly limit income and wealth and continue to provide financial incentives to work hard, get an education, or accept dangerous, stressful, or unpleasant work, and these are the appropriate reasons that one job should pay more than another.

The justice in pay goal is for fairness in income which would reduce selfishness, greed, and corruption thereby improving all our lives. The only way we can is to end the extremes of wealth and poverty, and rebuild the middle is with voluntary income and wealth limits and more progressive income and inheritance taxation. If we do not correct the injustices of corruption and the inequalities in compensation then we will be faced with more social deterioration. The System of greed corruption that has evolved in our country has caused environmental pollution, slums, low quality products, and the working poor who struggle to survive. We can change our country and go in a better, more healthy direction, or we can continue descending into a large division between those with money and those without, continue the exploitation and pollution for profit policies, and remain a violent, and selfish society.

Voluntary limits on income and wealth will provide us with a foundation of values to fight selfish greed corruption, and through more progressive income and inheritance taxation the money to fund universal medical and dental healthcare, affordable education, repay our national debt, and create a sustainable system for retirement and disability.

Allowing corporations to control medical insurance as a work place benefit has resulted in millions of people having inadequate or no medical and dental healthcare. The tremendous importance of these necessary needs should not be entrusted to employers who act on there own interests. We must make appropriate good quality medical and dental healthcare mandatory and available to all, and if states lack the courage or conscience to do it then the federal government should do it nationally.

A heroic organized effort must be made now to take control of our country away from exploiters who selfishly do anything they can to get money without care of people, land, water, and air. If you have the kind of courage, love, and strength that our country’s early leaders had then support COUP 4 JIP.

Admitting we are a manipulated people is painful but correcting the damages done by the fascist users and takers in business and government requires it. To end wage slavery, and have a free country where our votes count we must limit income and wealth.

The strong arm of this country is its working class and by joining together we can fight greed corruption. Supporting voluntary limits on income and wealth will put the resources of our nation and its government into the hands of "we the people."
